Car ends up on its top in Highway 75 bypass crash

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

A rollover crash on Highway 75 late Wednesday afternoon sent one person to the hospital.

It happened near the Outer Drive exit on the Highway 75 bypass. No one was seriously hurt, although an officer said a man in the rolled vehicle was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Police say the wreck occurred when a woman driving an SUV realized she needed to take the exit. She swerved across traffic lanes to get to the off-ramp. In the process, police say the man driving behind her swerved to miss a collision, sending his car rolling into the ditch.
