SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
The annual National Night Out will take place Tuesday, Aug. 77th. The event serves as a crime and drug prevention awareness event, strengthening police and community relationships.
Residents in neighborhoods are asked to turn on their outdoor lights, lock their doors, and head to a nearby community area to spend the evening with neighbors as well as police and fire representatives.
The event takes place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at four Sioux City locations.
