Convicted felon arrested in Madison, NE

A Madison, Nebraska man has been arrested on firearms charges.

Authorities executed a search warrant at 70-year-old Carlisle Briscoe's home Friday.

They says they discovered three firearms and ammunition.

Briscoe was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Madison Police Chief Rod Waterbury says Briscoe had several felony convictions in Indiana.

He says more details about Briscoe's criminal past will be released by the county attorney at a later date.
