From a mechanical bull to funnel cakes, the Woodbury County Fair attracts Siouxlanders every August.
One of the main attractions every year is the projects and hard work of all of those 4-H Club members on display.
Among the exhibits are some that featured bright ideas for the future with several creative designs and inventions.
While most who enter are hoping for a ribbon, everyone who takes part is a winner.
Abby Simmons, Sioux City said, "I made a cutting board knife block, a thing that I made for my nephew, a quilt and a recycled jar, that I made it into a flower pot."
And Eva McCoy of Sioux City added, "It's fun and you get away from chores."
