SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
If you were inspired by this week's action in the pool you're running out of time to practice your stroke.
Most of the Sioux City pools closed for the season Sunday, but that didn't stop folks from savoring their last moments, splashing, lounging, or cooling off out of the summer sun.
One pool manager says the season just flew by.
"I think it's a great day, I'm surprised there's not more people," said Lauren Sorenson, manager of the Leeds Swimming Pool in Sioux City. "I think this is the fastest season I've worked."
This isn't the last time the pool will used this year. It's just the last time you'll see people in it.
Monday is the Pooch Paddle at Leeds. Riverside Pool will remain open for a few more weeks.
