NORFOLK, Neb. (KTIV/US92) -

A former Stanton County Commissioner who resigned late last year has entered a no contest plea to a reduced charge following an investigation into the location of his actual residence.  Stanton County authorities say William Goodpasture entered the plea in District Court Monday.  The amended misdemeanor charge was a reduced charge from the original felony complaint for false candidate filing.  Authorities investigated the location of Goodpasture's residence compared to the district he served as commissioner.  District Judge Rober Ensz also handed Goodpasture of $1,000.
