UPDATE: Suspect arrested in South Sioux City Liquor Store Robbery

SOUTH SIOUX CITY, NE (KTIV) -

A man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a South Sioux City, Nebraska liquor store early Thursday morning.  South Sioux City police say they have taken 23-year old Michael Dryden into custody in connection with the crime at the Lazy M Liquor Store. 

Police say that at about 12:46am Thursday, a man with his face covered by a scarf and sunglasses walked into the store, showed a handgun and demanded money.  He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.  The store clerk was not hurt.

After further investigation, Dryden was arrested at about 11:30am Thursday.
