Siouxland police search for the suspect in a Thursday morning armed robbery

An armed robbery Thursday morning has Siouxland law enforcement looking for a suspect. Police say that at about 12:45 an armed man entered the Lazy M Liquor store at 3804 Dakota Avenue, ordered the clerk to the back of the store, then got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police say the man's face was covered with a scarf and sunglasses. He wore a Denver Broncos stocking hat and dark clothing. Sioux City Police are helping with the investigation.

TransCanada opens XL field office in Norfolk ahead of pipeline project

TransCanada cuts the ribbon on a new field office in Norfolk, Nebraska. It will serve as a base for the company as it prepares to file its latest plans with the Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality. TransCanada is finalizing a revised route for the Keystone XL pipeline to avoid the Nebraska Sandhills.
