You can find lots of unique things at the Sioux City Farmers Market. In honor of National Farmers Market Week, there are several events planned for this Saturday, August 11th.
Besides having two locally known chefs offering up some of their best creations for "Sassy Salsa Saturday," there will be free samples, magic shows, and a charity event called "FEED the VAN."
The event is an opportunity to give back to the community by bringing food to donate or by purchasing locally grown produce at the market and donating it to the Food Bank.
The Farmers Market it open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Tyson Events Center Parking Lot.
The salsa portion is from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
