An arraignment date has been set for A Sioux City man accused of firing a gun at two bicyclists last week. 22-year-old Terry Lee Oliver Junior is charged with Attempted Murder and Operating While Intoxicated.
During a preliminary appearance Monday morning in Plymouth County District Court, his arraignment was scheduled for a week from today, August 20th.
A passenger in the vehicle, 20-year-old Cesar Gonzalez of Sioux City, was being held as a material witness in the case.
Police say that on the morning of Sunday, August 5th, Oliver fired a gun in the direction of two men riding bicycles on Iowa Highway 12 north of Stone State Park. The men took cover in a road ditch and called 911. Neither was hurt.
Oliver and Gonzalez were arrested a short time later.
