SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Both of Iowa's U.S. Senators support the tax credit extension for wind producers.

Republican, Chuck Grassley told the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier newspaper he doesn't think Romney will change his stance. He said: "There was a conference call between my staff and his staff on these issues, and they didn't seem to be backing down. I think he'll stick by it."

Democrat, Tom Harkin, took a concerned tone in his statement to KTIV. He said the expiration "is threatening this clean, domestic energy technology and spreading uncertainty across the wind industry. Congress must extend the tax credit before the end of this year."
