SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Camp High Hopes says it will be able to provide financial assistance for individuals with an autism spectrum diagnosis.

The Siouxland Austism Support group provided the funding to the camp and there will only be a limited number of camperships available. The assistance will be available for people diagnosed with autism, Asperger's, and PDD-NOS who live in select counties in and around Sioux City.

Camp High Hopes is a year-round recreational facility exclusively designed and operated for children and adults with special needs.
