SIOUX CENTER, Iowa (KTIV) -
The drought was the biggest topic at this year's "Answer Plot" in Sioux Center, Iowa.
Farmers came from all around the area. They got a chance to meet with Siouxland agronomists, who answered any questions about the summer swelter.
Plus, farmers got the chance to check out "cutting edge seed, fertilizer, and chemical agronomic trials."
"This is where guys can come and feel new products, touch them, see them, walk out, pull them out, dig roots, and look at stuff. Whatever's out there they can look at," said Farmers Coop Society Agronomist Joel Leusink.
The "Answer Plot" is an annual event. It was sponsored by the Farmers Coop Society, Hull Coop Association, and Farmers Elevator Coop.
