NORFOLK, Neb. (KTIV) -

A young Norfolk, Nebraska man is dead following what the Madison County Attorney calls an "accidental shooting."

Joe Smith said authorities were called to the 800 block of Boxelder Avenue around four Saturday morning.

He said when they arrived they found 21-year-old William Webbert dead of a gunshot wound.  Smith said Webbert lived in the home.  He said several other people were at the home when the accident happened.

Smith wouldn't say whether drugs or alcohol were involved.  He doesn't expect any arrests to be made.
