SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
The Bishop Heelan Catholic Schools are kicking off a new school year.
Throughout the afternoon, the football teams held scrimmages.
In the evening, there were bouncy houses set up, competitive mazes hosted by the Army National Guard, and food and drink.
Parents say it's a tradition they can't pass up.
"My favorite thing in particular is the mass," said Charlie Delaney of Sioux City. "I think getting everybody together is a great thing for our system."
