After giving up 11 runs in a loss Saturday, the Sioux City Explorers answered with 11 of their own in an 11-5 win to avoid being swept by the Wichita Wingnuts.
Each X's player recorded a hit in the victory.
Adrian Martinez collected three while Brandon Newton, Wally Backman Jr., and Peter Barrows each had two hits a piece.
Down 5-2 heading into the third inning, the X's struck for three in the third, two in the fifth and four more in the sixth.
Richard Salazar picked up the win for Sioux City striking out three over seven innings of work.
Andrew Snowdon mopped things up pitching two innings of shutout baseball to secure the victory.
The X's have an off day Monday and begin a three game series against Kansas City on Tuesday.
