Prepare for some changes if you work or visit downtown.
The parking and skywalk board will recommend the city convert 30 minute and one-hour meters to a minimum of two hours.
Downtown Partners received feedback from business owners survey recently. Of the city's 900 meters, a majority are already two-hours.
Meters will stay the same in front of businesses who request to keep the current time limit.
They survey also showed a change in people's parking habits, choosing to park on the street rather than the ramps.
"I think that is a sign that there's not as many employees fighting for the same parking spot. So, there's more people parking on the street versus the ramp," said Chris Bogenrief.
He said many suggested the city establish an automatic payment option in the parking garages and on the meters, as well. However, it may not be cost effective.
