Dense fog is being blamed for a two-vehicle crash in Cuming County early Sunday that claimed the life of an Onawa, Iowa woman and injured four others.

The Nebraska State Patrol says 20-year-old Brittany Meyers was a back seat passenger in a vehicle that was struck head-on when a car traveling in the opposite direction crossed the center line.  Meyers was killed.  Four others were injured.  Their identities or conditions are not available at this time.

The Cuming County Sheriff's department says the collision happened in dense fog, one-and-a-half miles south of West Point, Nebraska on Highway 275 just before 3:00am Sunday.
