SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
Police say a man showed a hammer when he robbed a Sioux City convenience store Tuesday night.
Police say around 10:45, a man wearing dark sweat clothes, a ski mask, and gloves ran into the Kum & Go convenience store at 27th and Court Street in Sioux City.
The man demanded money and that's when he showed a hammer as a weapon. He ran out of the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
No one was hurt.
Police continue to investigate and search for the thief. They are using video from the store's surveillance camera to catch him. Police say he is about 5'8" tall and weighs about 200 pounds.
