SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
It's one of the biggest art festivals in Siouxland and its happening this weekend at the Grandview Park.
This is the festival's 19th year of showcasing artwork, featuring artists, and offering crafts and activities for families.
Erin Webber-Dreeszen with the Art Center says the festival is growing in popularity and attracting many artists to come back.
"One thing that is again and again a theme is that the artists want to come back to Sioux City. They really love our community, the way that the Art Center treats them, the people that they run into at Art Splash," Erin Webber-Dreeszen, Art Center said.
Webber-Dresszen says the money that is generated by the event goes back to the Art Center, towards art education, and local exhibitions.
