SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
As the president makes his way into Siouxland, some Mitt Romney supporters are wondering why the visit wasn't sooner.
During last year's flood, supporters say the president bypassed affected areas in order to campaign in Bettendorf, Iowa at the end of June.
Now that he's coming to Morningside College to campaign tomorrow, Romney supporters, like Sioux City Council Member Keith Radig are critical.
"You can kind of describe Obama as a fair-weathered friend. He's one that's only there when he needs something from you, but when we needed his leadership, he was no where to be found," said Keith Radig, Sioux City Councilman.
President Obama did issue a presidential disaster declaration for Northwest Iowa June 27th, 2011, the day before his Eastern Iowa visit.
