DAKOTA DUNES, S.D. (KTIV) -

Authorities say a distracted driver caused a rollover on the interstate Friday evening.

It happened near the Dakota Dunes exit.

The South Dakota highway patrol says as traffic was slowing down in the construction zone, a Sioux City woman hit the pick-up in front of her.

They say the pick-up, driven by a Nebraska man, rolled two and a half times into a ditch.

Both drivers were taken to Sioux City's Mercy Medical Center where they were treated and released.

The Sioux City driver was cited with careless driving, having a suspended license, and no insurance.

Authorities say she was distracted by her electronic device.
