13-Year-Old Siouxlander arrested for stealing & driving car

PLYMOUTH COUNTY, Iowa (KTIV) -

A 13-year old from Northwest Iowa was arrested today for stealing a car and leading authorities on a chase.

The Remsen Iowa teen has since been released to his parents, but not before being held on multiple counts, including a felony.

The Plymouth County Sheriff's Department says they arrested the teen for motor vehicle theft, felony eluding, speeding, failure to maintain control, and driving without a license.

Authorities are not saying how the incident unfolded, where the car was stolen from, or where the teen was caught.
