T-Bones use long ball to beat X's 9-3

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

The Kansas City T-Bones blasted two home runs off Sioux City starter Aaron Correa in the third inning on the way to a 9-3 win over the Explorers Sunday at Lewis & Clark Park.

Correa lasted just 3.1 innings, giving up seven runs.

KC's Brian Grening took the win, pitching a complete game.  He kept the X's on ice most of the night before giving up three runs in the sixth.

Mike Bisenius led Sioux City at the plate, going 2-for-4.

Sioux City will try to end the season on a winning note in their home finale Monday.

First pitch is set for 7:05 at Lewis & Clark Park. Fireworks are scheduled for after the game.
