It's not a scene from a horror movie, but rather footage from China of a giant earthworm.

CCTV reports that the half-meter-long worm was found in the gutter of a home in southwest China.

The person who first spotted it thought it was a snake. The elongated earthworm has attracted neighbors, who have never seen one this long before.

Biologists plan to study the creature to figure out exactly what type it is and how it grew so big.
