Sioux City trash collection pushed back because of Labor Day holiday

Posted:
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

The Labor Day holiday means government agencies and banks are closed. It also means your trash collection will be pushed back a day if you live in Sioux City.

For Sioux City residents garbage, yard waste, and recyclables collection will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week following the holiday.

Monday's pick up will occur on Tuesday with Friday's pickup concluding the week on Saturday.

Residents are asked to place all materials to be collected at the curb by 4 a.m. on their scheduled collection day.
