Sioux City East took advantage of every second against Fort Dodge. Final seconds of the first half, Taylor Delaughter heaves it deep and Dom Thompson-Williams is there. A 48-yard TD with :01 second left on the clock. East downs Fort Dodge, 48-7.
Bishop Heelan kicker Tyler Stolen was on target in the Crusaders 43-15 win over North. Stolen had field goals of 41 and 42 yards, plus five extra points to account for 11 points on the night.
Dakota Valley is 2 and 0 after blanking Beresford. Adrew Reiff gets the interception in the endzone as the Panthers get the shutout, 35-0.
In Nebraska, Lutheran High Northeast used big plays to beat Archbishop Bergan. Shaka Taylor returns the kickoff 82 yards for the TD. Eagles earn a 34-23 victory.
O'Neill grabbed a road win in Wayne. Michael Hedlund goes down the sideline for a 40-yard touchown jaunt. O'Neill's OK, winning 25-6.
The 'good hands award' goes to Gehlen Catholic's Michael Whitehead. The senior has the gift of grab. But it wasn't enough as the Jays fall to Akron-Westfield, 29-9.
