SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Sioux City Police are looking for a man who robbed a bank branch in Morningside.

It happened Thursday morning shortly before nine at the Great Southern Bank branch on Morningside Avenue.

They say a man came into the bank through the front entrance, demanded money from a worker, and then took off on foot through the back door and down the alley behind the building with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was hurt, and there were no customers inside at the time of the robbery. Police say the suspect they're looking for is a white man, in his 40s, and about 5'8 to 5'10.

They say the suspect was wearing a green shirt with short sleeves, blue jeans, and a dark colored baseball cap.
