Officials: Man tried to abduct woman from outside her Little Rock home

LITTLE ROCK, Iowa (KTIV) -

Authorities in Lyon County Iowa are searching for a man they say tried to abduct a woman outside her home. The sheriff's department say it happened shortly after noon Wednesday in Little Rock.

They describe the man as being a white male, 60 to 65-years-old, with long brown and gray hair and beard. Authorities say he's six feet two inches tall and weighs about 250 pounds.

The suspect was driving a smaller, older, dark-colored, possibly black car with a white top.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Lyon County Sheriff's Department at the number 712-472-8300.
