Suspect arrested in July bank robbery in South Sioux City

SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Neb. (KTIV) -

A Marshalltown, Iowa man has been arrested in connection with a bank robbery in South Sioux City Nebraska.

28-year-old Robert Joseph Thomas is charged with robbery.

He was arrested Thursday in Marshalltown.

On July 23rd police say Thomas went into Bank of the West at 1001 Dakota Avenue, told employees he had a weapon, and demanded money.

South Sioux City police say a joint investigation with Marshalltown Police helped lead to his arrest.
