South Dakota man is hurt in rollover accident in Lyon County, Iowa

NEAR ROCK VALLEY, Iowa (KTIV) -

A Platte, South Dakota man is hospitalized with serious injuries suffered in a rollover accident in northwest Iowa.

The Lyon County Sheriff's Department says 29-year old Brent Threeton lost control of his car on county road K-30 three miles north of Rock Valley about 1:20 a.m. Thursday.

The vehicle went into the ditch and rolled at least once before coming to rest on the passenger side.

Threeton was taken to the hospital in Rock Valley, then airlifted to a Sioux Falls hospital.

The accident remains under investigation.
