What started as a gloomy day for golf turned out to be a beautiful one to hit the links.
Friday, golfers turned out for the 14th annual Pink Ribbon Golf Classic at Two Rivers Golf Course.
The tournament is held every year on the first Friday in September, raising money for breast cancer research and patients.
"Every two minutes a woman hears that she has breast cancer and having an event like this funds the research that is done, to keep treatments going, and for those of us that have the disease fighting. and having a fighting chance," said Sandy Carlson, the co-chair of the Pink Ribbon Golf Classic.
KTIV's Kristie VerMulm, Garth Kant, Brooke Hensley, and Tim Oakley played in the tournament.
