LAKE PARK, Iowa (KTIV) -

Northwest Iowa authorities are searching for a man suspected of two attempted abductions in the Iowa Great Lakes.

Lake Park police say a 13-year-old reported that a man asked her if she needed a ride while she was walking near City Park on Monday.

The man is described as being 60-years-old with a black and gray beard wearing eyeglasses.

The teen says he was driving a white minivan.

The next day, a 35-year- old woman told officers that a man with the same description approached her asking if she needed a ride, while she was walking on the east side of town.

This man was driving a white utility van with a Dickinson County license plate.
