February bank robbery suspect sentenced

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

A Sioux City man with a long criminal history was sentenced to 10-years in federal prison.

Fifty-three-year-old Stephan Hall pled guilty to stealing $3,000 from a local bank.

He admitted to stealing over 3-thousand dollars from First National Bank in February.

When he first went into the bank he exchange two dollars for coins.  He later returned to the bank and gave a teller a note demanding large bills and saying no one would get hurt.

Police caught Hall at his apartment less than a block away from the bank.
