SPENCER, Iowa (KTIV) -
If you think you've seen it all at the Clay County Fair, think again.
Check out the Iowa Lakes Corridor Innovation Pavillion, a new exhibit for 2012.
The building it's housed in was used as an entertainment stage last year. Now, you can find 10 local entrepreneurs from Estherville to Alta.
They're showing off their latest creations, things like a smarter computerized planting system, or reusable produce bags.
Pavilion organizers call it a throw back to what fairs used to be all about.
"It used to be you'd go to The World's Fair, or a state fair, or county fairs and that's when you would see the latest and greatest equipment, or latest and greatest, today, technologies," said President of the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation Kathy Evert.
The Innovation Pavillion will be open all week.
The Iowa Lakes Corridor is a regional economic development corporation. They cover Buena Vista, Clay, Dickinson and Emmet Counties.
