Casey Muessigmann sings on NBC's "The Voice" for a chance to move on.
UNDATED (KTIV) -
Tuesday night, a Siouxland-native took his first steps on the road to stardom. But, it wasn't going to be easy.
Morningside College student, Casey Muessigmann, tried to impress the four judges on NBC's "The Voice".
Casey wrestled at Morningside, but a torn meniscus ended his wrestling career. Since then, he's reconnected with his love of singing.
Both Blake Shelton, and CeeLo Green, turned their chairs around hoping to pick Casey to be a part of their team.
"That's a life altering experience that I just had in there. And my family to be here, and be supporting me the whole way through, I've never felt stronger my entire life," said Casey Muessigmann, Spencer, Iowa singer on "The Voice".
When forced to choose between Blake and CeeLo, Casey decided to go with Blake.
