Motorcyclist improving after west side accident

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

A motorcyclist is improving after he was hit by a mini-van early Monday morning on Sioux City's west side.

Doctors at Mercy Medical Center says 63-year-old Christopher Engel, of St, Louis, Missouri, is in fair condition after suffering several broken bones when he was hit by the van at the corner of West 3rd and Helmer.
