CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (KTIV/KWWL) -

The Hawkeyes host their second straight in-state opponent, when they welcome Northern Iowa to Kinnick Stadium on Saturday.

UNI has already played one Big Ten team, losing at Wisconsin in their opener 26-21 two weeks ago. In that game, the Panthers rallied from a 19-0 deficit in the second half and were driving for the go-ahead score late in the fourth quarter.

UNI is 1-14 against the Hawkeyes, with that one win coming in '98...1898.

After playing at Wisconsin, going to Iowa City doesn't seem to worry them.

"When you've been in an environment and looked across the field into a Big Ten team, so maybe that aspect is a little bit more tempered," said UNI head coach Mark Farley. "At the same time, to our kids it's still the University of Iowa so I'm sure they're excited and getting ready to go."

"I watched a lot of film this summer on the Iowa defense," said UNI quarterback Sawyer Kollmorgen. "They're very good, a very fundamentally sound team. They do different stuff. They don't do a whole lot of stuff. What they do, they do very well. We're going to have to be ready and we're going to have to study real hard."

Both teams are 1-1. Iowa and UNI kick off at 2:30 Saturday on the Big Ten Network.
