ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa (KTIV) -

Shortly after 6:00pm, Wednesday night, the Lyon County, Iowa, sheriff reported the abduction of a teenage girl in Rock Rapids. But, an investigation showed it was all a misunderstanding.

A group of teens had been arguing about where they would sit in a friend's car. A witness, who was about a block away, heard the yelling, and thought they saw a young girl being forced into the car, and called authorities.

Sheriff's deputies found the car, and found nothing wrong.
