SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

A Sioux City teen remains in the hospital after being hit by a car on a busy Sioux City street last night.

Police say a group of kids left the Heelan football game at Memorial Field, and tried to cross Hamilton Boulevard around 9-15 last night.

Authorities say they'd crossed three lanes of traffic, when 14-year old Antonio Lederman was struck by a car.

But, the driver, 19-year old Ricardo Olague Junior of South Sioux City, Nebraska was not charged, because police say the teens were not using the crosswalks properly.

Lederman is at Sioux City's Mercy Medical Center, where he's listed in good condition
