SIOUX COUNTY, Iowa (KTIV) -

The Sioux County, Iowa Sheriff's Office is asking people to be on the lookout for a suspicious man seen driving around Rock Valley, Iowa.

Two 13-year-old girls reported that a man driving a gray or silver minivan circled around 305th Street about a half mile east of town Saturday.

They told deputies he stopped at the intersection of Fig Avenue and asked them their names.  The girls walked away, and the van left the area, only to return a short time later.

That's when the girls hid behind a house.  They told authorities the van drove past them two more times before disappearing for good.

The driver is described as a white male in his 30's or 40's with tan skin.  He had short facial hair on his jaw and chin, was wearing a white or light colored baseball cap.  He was also smoking a cigarette.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sioux County Sheriff's Office at: (712) 737-2280.
