Missing man found alive in Monona County, IA

Missing since last week, a Missouri man has been found alive and alert.

Thirty-six-year-old Daniel Stockwell was discovered by some hunters in the woods near the Missouri River west of Onawa Sunday morning.

He'd last been seen walking at the Whiting Marina on Wednesday.

Stockwell was taken to the hospital for observation.

The Monona County Sheriff is expected to release more details on Monday.
