David Goodwin had two goals and an assist in Sioux City's 5-2 win over Sioux Falls on Wednesday.

Sioux City won their opening game of the USHL's Fall Classic, 5-2, over Sioux Falls. The Musketeers are now 2-1-1 in the preseason.
David Goodwin scored a short-handed goal at the 5:54 mark of the first period to give Sioux City a 1-0 lead after the first period.
Sioux Falls took a 2-1 lead in the second period when Goodwin scored again to tie the game. Sioux City then took the lead when Goodwin assisted on a goal from Jordan Boucher-Gould to give the Musketeers a 3-2 lead after two periods.
Sioux Falls pulled their goalie with 1:28 left in the third period, trailing 3-2. Sioux City's Jared Kolquist scored a pair of empty-net goals, just four seconds apart, to give the Musketeers the 5-2 win.
Kyle Hayton was the starting goaltender for Sioux City and he stopped all 13 shots he faced. Austin Priebe finished in net for the Muskies, stopping 17 of 19 shots.
The Musketeers will play Team USA's under-18 squad on Friday and will face Omaha on Saturday. Both games are at 7:00 PM at the Tyson Events Center. Sioux City opens the regular season on Friday, September 28th, in Fargo, North Dakota.
