The 2012 Clay County Fair had the 4th-highest attendance in the fair's 95-year history
SPENCER, Iowa (KTIV) -
The numbers are in from the World's Greatest County Fair and it turned out to be a pretty good year. The Clay County Fair in Spencer, Iowa wrapped up Sunday and nearly 319,000 people passed through the gates this year.
That makes this year's the fourth-best-attended fair in the 95-year history of the Clay County Fair. The all-time attendance record was set last year with 328,000 guests.
Over the span of 9 days fair goers took in all the sights and sounds of the fair, including the rides, food, livestock and entertainment.
