SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
Here in Siouxland, customers at one store lined up for the new iPhone 5 starting at 1 a.m. on Friday morning.
The Verizon Wireless store in Sioux City opened its doors an hour early Friday morning to accommodate iPhone 5 customers.
The store manager says 32 people were in line when he opened the store at eight.
He says people were cheering and jumping up and down when they walked in.
"The people that did come and get one, were extremely excited to use their phone at the speeds on our LTE network right away. A lot of speed tests going on, a lot of downloads going on right before they hit the door. A lot of excitement," Dan Borchers, a Verizon Store Manager said.
Borchers says the iPhone ranges in price from $200 to $400 depending on how many gigabytes you want.
