Farmer run over by tractor

EVERLY, Iowa (KTIV) -

An Everly, Iowa man was killed in a farming accident. The Clay County Sheriff's office says 63-year-old Timothy Galm was run over by a tractor.

Authorities say Galm started his tractor from a standing position inside the right rear tire, while it was in reverse.

Galm was pronounced dead at the scene around 6:30 Friday evening.
