LINCOLN, Neb. (KTIV) -

It was anything but a fair fight Saturday as Nebraska scored 73 points in its win over Idaho State.

It's the most points ever scored in the Bo Pelini era, and the Huskers did it every which way scoring on offense, defense and special teams.

It's the first time since the 2009 season that the Huskers have scored touchdowns in all three facets of the game.

Nebraska scored five times on the ground, had three throwing touchdowns, returned a punt for a touchdown and had a pick six in the win.

It's a nice tune-up for the Huskers who open Big Ten play against Wisconsin Saturday night in Lincoln.

"We just need to keep concentration on us getting better," Head Coach Bo Pelini said.  "Keep working better and preparing the way we need to prepare and let the chips fall where they may at that point."

"I think we're right where we want to be," Taylor Martinez added.  "I think if we keep this momentum going, we'll be tough to beat."

The Huskers and Badgers kickoff at 7 p.m. on Saturday. The game can be seen on ABC.
