SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Sioux City Police are reporting a possible abduction.

They say at around 6 o'clock Thursday evening a witness saw a 12-year-old white female being pulled into a van near Military Road and Prescott Street.

She has brown hair, and was wearing a gray T-shirt and shorts.

The van was described as "boxy," white in color, with dark windows, and some blue writing on the passenger side, 2/3rds up from the bottom. It was last seen headed west on Military Road.

The driver is described as a male, about 40 years-old, with black hair and black clothing.

A witness says while this incident was going on... a red car passed the van.

They say an Amber Alert hasn't been issued. And, as of 6 p.m. Friday night, no one had reported a missing child.

Those with any information, about the incident or the red car, are asked to contact the police department. Here's their number: 712-279-6440.
