Sioux City Police are reporting a possible abduction. They say at around 6 o'clock Thursday night a witness saw a 12 year-old white female being pulled into a van near Military Road and Prescott Street. The van was described as "boxy," white in color, with dark windows, and some blue writing on the passenger side, 2/3rds up from the bottom. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police department.

They touched on hot button topics like national debt, immigration, gun control, and same sex marriage. King and Vilsack are vying for Iowa's 4th Congressional District seat. A 25 year-old Sioux City man is dead after the motorcycle he was driving collided with a pickup truck. It happened on Correctionville Road Thursday afternoon. Police say the motorcycle hit the oncoming truck as it turned into a driveway. Witnesses say the motorcyclist was going at a high rate of speed and riding a wheelie when he crashed into the truck. Names of those involved have not been released.
CasinOmaha will re-open by the end of the year. The casino closed because of the Missouri River flooding last summer and mold and water damage kept the doors closed. Omaha Tribal officials say it will open with a new look and a new name, the Blackbird Bend Casino. Construction should start next week and the casino could open in late December.
