SIOUX CENTER, Iowa (KTIV) -
It took a touchdown pass from PJ Quiroga to Bryce Harshman with 10 seconds left in the game for Briar Cliff to slip past Dordt, 33-29.
Harshman's score came moments after Dordt's second touchdown of the fourth quarter, which gave the Defenders a 29-26 advantage with 2:09 remaining in the game.
Harshman finished with nine catches for 93 yards, while Quiroga was 24-37 for 295 yards and three scores. With the win, the Chargers snapped a 10-game losing skid and improved to 1-4 overall and 1-3 in the GPAC.
With the loss, the Defenders fell to 0-5 (0-4).
